Welcome to the official 441 Speedway site.

We at 441 are extremely excited about our 2014 racing season. For the first time in twenty years, we are now under the direction of local management and operations. Thanks to the initiative of David Williams of East Dublin, Georgia. This is a monumental change for 441 that will impact not only our drivers, but our fans, sponsors and supporters, as well as our community. We now have the ability to work with local and area charitable organizations, schools, churches, sponsors and supporters to bring attention to Laurens County through various activities and fundraisers held in conjunction with our racing events.

David Williams,441 's new CEO, has been a constant at 441 most of his life. He became involved with Mini Stock racing at 441 shortly after graduating from Trinity Christian School in Dublin. That was in 1978. Since then, he has owned and/or sponsored several cars that raced in various divisions at 441 including the very popular "Y-96 Red Dog" race car that ran the Super Street Division there during the 1990's. For the past five years David has supervised weekly track prep at 441, and personally did the construction that changed the track to its current clay surface and high banked fourteen degree status. David and his wife Vicki both are from Laurens County and reside in East Dublin where they have lived all of their lives. They have one son, Dusty, and one grandson.

Mr. Williams also has experience in business ownership and operation, having owned his own business for more than twenty years. He is currently co-owner of G&W Industrial Contractors of East Dublin. David realizes the importance of community support, of doing business locally whenever possible. David is no stranger to giving back to the community. He has been a part of multiple fund raising events for families in need, served as a director or officer of several local organizations and helped to charter the Laurens County Handicapped Hunters Association where he currently serves as Club President.
